Central Bank Thursday Night Live

Join us in Downtown Lexington every Thursday evening, April 4 through October 10, for the 2019 Central Bank Thursday Night Live concert series! Come to Fifth Third Bank Pavilion from 5:00pm – 8:00pm for beverages, tasty food and of course, great music by live bands! Average nightly attendance is 2,000 with peak nights in May – July averaging 3,500.

PNC Bank Presents Fountain Films on Friday

Join us in Downtown Lexington on select Friday evenings for our outdoor movie series! Come to Triangle Park starting at dusk for a great movie shown on an inflatable screen! Admission is free and guests can purchase food and beverages from the Big L’s Gourmet Dogs at Triangle Park Café! Nightly attendance averages 500.

Bike Lexington Family Fun Ride Presented by Pedal Power

Bike Lexington Family Fun Ride is an eight mile car-free bike ride in the heart of downtown Lexington. The event is not a race and the route is designed for riders of all skill sets and ages to celebrate the joy of biking. The event is free and features giveaways, a bike polo demonstration, a Kids Rodeo bike course and a Slow Cycle for ages 18+.

Downtown is alive with the holiday spirit! Join us for Lexington’s Christmas Parade down Main Street. Enjoy marching bands, performers and parade floats as everyone waits for Santa’s trip through downtown Lexington! Estimated attendance is 3,500.

Join us in Triangle Park as we usher in the magic of the holiday season with lights and music transforming downtown into a winter wonderland with the spirit of the holidays as we light Lexington’s Official Christmas Tree! Fun for all ages! Guests can enjoy skating, listen to music and enjoy free children’s activities as the crowd waits for Santa and the Mayor to light the tree. Estimated attendance is 5,000.

Annual Meeting & Awards of Excellence Luncheon Presented by Republic Bank

The Annual Meeting & Awards of Excellence Luncheon Presented by Republic Bank allows us to recognize the accomplishments that have transformed our downtown by making it stronger, more vibrant and prosperous. Each year, this event recognizes six outstanding businesses and/or individuals that have made a lasting and positive impact on downtown. This year’s event will be held on March 25, 2019 at the Hilton Downtown/Lexington. Estimated attendance is 400 business leaders and professionals.

Mayfest Arts Fair Presented by Republic Bank

Mayfest is a juried art fair with a focus on a casual, family-friendly atmosphere.  Included are up to 100 Artist Vendors, performances by musicians, dancers, strolling performers, food concession vendors, and children’s activities including pony rides and children’s crafts.  Attendance at the two-day event averages 25,000.

Ball Homes and Central Bank Present Lexington’s Fourth of July Festival

The Fourth of July Festival begins on July 3rd with the Great American Pie and Ice Cream Social and the Patriotic Concert. July 4th kicks off with the Bluegrass 10,000 footrace followed by the street festival, parade and fireworks. Estimated attendance at the two-day set of events is 80,000 plus firework viewers throughout the Fayette County.
