General Information
EVENT LOCATION: The event takes place every week in Cheapside Park, between West Main Street and West Short Street, just west of Upper Street. The park is directly adjacent to the Old Courthouse, now the Lexington History Museum, and the band plays in front of the Museum's side entrance, facing Cheapside Street. Follow this link for a map showing Cheapside Park.
IN THE CASE OF RAIN: In the event of rain, the band will be moved under the Fifth Third Bank Pavilion at Cheapside Park. The pavilion is HUGE, with lots of covered space to sit down, so the party won't stop due to a little drizzle
PARKING: Central Parking hosts a Central Bank Thursday Night Live parking special for the parking lot located on the corner Short Street and Market Street: $1 Parking on Thursdays. Additional area parking can be found by visiting www.lexpark.org or www.parking.com. Note: The DLC is not affiliated with any of the parking lots or garages in Downtown Lexington.
PETS:Friendly pets are welcome at the event - just please be sure to pick up after them. Look for the dog-watering station near Main Street run by the friendly folks at Dogtown Doggie Daycare Center and Bluegrass Barkery.
FOOD: Various food will be available for purchase each night. Food must be purchased directly from each of these vendors. Scheduled food vendors include Courtyard Deli, Goodfellas Pizza, Java Jones Coffee, Repicci's Italian Ice of the Bluegrass, Lexington Pasta Company, Bluegrass Kettle Masters Kettle Korn, Salyers Farm Ice Cream, Sav's Grill, Big J's BBQ and Mr. Gyros.
**Please be aware that bringing your own alcohold into Cheapside Park is strictly prohibited. Not only is it illegal, but by purchasing beer from the beer booth, you are supporting the continuation of this free concert series. The DLC relies on the proceeds from beer sales to fund the expenses associated with this event. If you enjoy these concerts, then show your support for Central Bank Thursday Night live by purchasing a glass of beer! BEER: The DLC will again sell icy cold beer during Central Bank Thursday Night Live! Starting in 2010, beer must be purchased directly from the beer tents. Draft Beer - $3 per glass:
WINE: Wine will be available from Wines on Vine, and must be purchased directly from the wine tent.
SODA AND WATER: Starting in 2010, all soda and water will be sold by the food vendors in Cheapside Park each week
