Central Bank Thursday Night Live
The highlight of the summer: a free, weekly concert in the park! This family-friendly and pet-friendly event features a different live band each Thursday evening in Cheapside Park, along with food, beverages and kid's activities. For complete details, visit our Thursday Night Live page.
Artist's Market
Downtown Lexington's only weekly art market featuring local artists and handcrafted works of art and craft. Located at the Lexington Financial Center (the big blue building!) on Main Street across from Cheapside Park and the Farmer's Market on Saturdays June - August. Hollywood's Brightest Stars
Downtown Lexington's summer classic movie series: A weekly showing of Hollywood's classic films on Downtown Lexington's oldest and only operating movie theatre in Downtown Lexington, the historic Kentucky Theatre. Watch classic movies while experiencing the splendor of 1920's architecture & design. Beginning May 27 with shows through September 2. New This Summer: Tuesday Night Live!
Join us in Cheapside Park every Tuesday evening in June and July for Tuesday Night Live, a concert series aimed at high school-aged bands. During the nine-week series, these bands will be duking it out “battle of the bands” style for a chance to perform during a Central Bank Thursday Night Live in August. Lexington Farmers Market
Buy fresh and local! Each Saturday during the warm weather, the Lexington Farmers Market sets up in their new Downtown Lexington this year - Cheapside Park.
