Mayfest is held at Gratz Park, 231 N Mill St, Lexington, KY 40507

The Park is bounded by 2nd Street, Third Street, Mill St. and Market St. in Downtown Lexington, and is located adjacent to and between the Carnegie Center and Transylvania University.

Between Friday, May 9 at 5pm and Sunday May 11 at 7pm, Mill St. will be closed between 2nd St. and 3rd St., Market St. will be closed between 2nd St. and 3rd St. will be closed between Broadway Ave. and Upper St.  There is no single point of entry to the festival.   Guests may enter from any direction.

From Cincinnati/Covington

  1. Drive South on I-75 to Lexington.

  2. Take the exit onto I-64 East/I-75 South

  3. Continue on I-75 South

  4. Take the US-27/US-68 exit 113 to Paris/Lexington

  5. Turn right from the off-ramp onto N Broadway

  6. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From London/Somerset

  1. Drive North on I-75 to Lexington

  2. Take the US-60 exit 110 to Lexington

  3. Turn Left from the off-ramp onto Winchester Rd.

  4. Winchester Road turns into E. Third Street

  5. Continue on E. Third Street to Upper St.

  6. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From Ashland/Grayson

  1. Drive West on 1-64

  2. Merge on to 1-75 S via exit 81 to Richmond/Knoxville

  3. Take the US-60 exit 110 to Lexington

  4. Turn right from the off-ramp onto Winchester Rd.

  5. Winchester Road turns into E. Third Street

  6. Continue on E. 3rd Street to Upper Street.

  7. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From Louisville

  1. Drive East on I-64 to Lexington

  2. Take the US-27/US-68 exit 113 to Paris/Lexington

  3. Turn right from the off-ramp onto N Broadway

  4. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From Pikeville/ Prestonsburg

  1. Drive North on the US-23/US-460

  2. Take the KY-114 ramp to Lexington/Prestonsburg

  3. Continue onto Bert T Combs Mountain Pky Ext

  4. Take the exit onto I-64 West

  5. Merge on to 1-75 S via exit 81 to Richmond/Knoxville

  6. Take the US-60 exit 110 to Lexington

  7. Turn right from the off-ramp onto Winchester Rd.

  8. Winchester Road turns into E. Third Street

  9. Continue on E. 3rd Street to Upper Street.

  10. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From Bowling Green

  1. Drive North on  I-65

  2. Merge onto Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Pkwy E via the Blue Grass Pkwy exit 93 to Bardstown/Lexington

  3. Merge onto US-60 E via the I-64 E/US-60 E exit

  4. Continue on Versailles Rd

  5. Versailles Rd will turn into West High Street, continue on W. High St.

  6. Bear Right onto West Maxwell St.

  7. Turn left at South Broadway

  8. Continue to one of the public parking lots.

 

From Paducah/Mayfield

  1. Drive East on I-24

  2. Merge onto Wendell H Ford Western Kentucky Pkwy East via the Western Ky Pkwy East exit 42 to Princeton/Elizabethtown

  3. Take the I-65 North exit 137B to Bg Pkwy/Lexington/Louisville

  4. Drive North on I-65 to Elizabethtown

  5. Merge onto Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Pkwy E via the Blue Grass Pkwy exit 93 to Bardstown/Lexington

  6. Merge onto US-60 E via the I-64 E/US-60 E exit

  7. Continue on Versailles Rd
