Downtown Street Scene
Our newest program to hit the streets of Downtown Lexington! Keep an eye out for street entertainers and artists in the downtown area every Saturday between 8p and 10p. These artists and entertainers of all genres have been selected by the DLC to entertain the walking public along Main Street and the adjacent streets from Triangle Park to Thoroughbred Park, beginning at Main and Broadway. This will be a progressive program throughout the summer - expect to see the number of entertainers increase as the summer goes on.
Show our artists how much you appreciate their contribution to the community. Tips are welcomed and encouraged!

"Henrie" Henrie is a native of Pike County, an Army Veteran and has lived in Lexington for many years. She has been playing guitar since she was 9 yrs old and plays Country, Folk and Blues. She is an enthusiastic contributor to the Downtown scene and can also be found playing at the DLC's Artist's Market most Saturdays on Vine Street! |

"Sardini" Sardini is a balloon artist and magician who loves to amaze the kids with his tricks and balloon creatures. He can also be found twisting balloons into life at the Saturday Farmer's Market on Vine Street. |

Douglas Waterbury-Tieman At 17 years old, Douglas is already an accomplished fiddle player. He regularly attends LexJam, the public jam sessions held monthly in the Lexington Center, and wows the audience with his talent. |
