KY Blood Center’s “Summer in the City” is here!
Last year’s Artists’ Market was a huge success! With the popularity of the event growing, the enthusiasm of the participating artists and the addition of children’s activities, the 2008 Artists’ Market should be the best yet! Artist reservations are made on a first-come/first-served basis - reserve your spot today!
Join us every Saturday in June, July and August from 8am to 2pm in Phoenix Park (at the corner of Main and Limestone) for a small, informal arts and crafts market that includes works from young artists, emerging adult artists and challenged artists. Artist registration varies weekly, so stop in each week to see new and different artists! Kettle Masters Kettle Corn will be joining us and we will also be providing free kid's activities! This is a rain or shine event.
Event Location: Phoenix Park, Downtown Lexington, next to the main Library and directly across Limestone from the Farmers Market
Event Dates and Hours: Every Saturday, June 7 – August 30, 2007, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Exhibitor Information:
Number of Artists & Booth Size: Approximately 20 artists can be accommodated each Saturday. The booth display size is 10’ x 10’. The artist is responsible for providing everything necessary, including all display structures, chairs, tables, etc. No electricity will be provided and we are strictly prohibited from tapping any nearby outlets.
Booth Location and Product: Location assignments will not be made. Participants are to set-up their booths as they arrive on a first come basis. The arts and crafts that will be sold must be the original work of the artist. Any retail or imported products are prohibited. Final decision on appropriateness of product lies with the Downtown Lexington Corporation.
