2011 Downtown Trash Bash

Help keep Downtown Lexington clean and green! Help clean up Downtown Lexington by volunteering for the 2011 Downtown Lexington Corporation's Earth Day Celebration. Show your support for Downtown and the environment.
Families, clubs, schools, businesspersons and everyone in between is invited! The first 200 registered volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and snack. Volunteers will be armed with bags and gloves to clean up Downtown streets.
The Downtown Trash Bash is an annual "Spring Cleaning" event, and the local branch of the Great American Cleanup. All the trash collected is trash saved from being washed down the storm drains and into our local rivers. Collected debris will be disposed of properly by our friends at the LFUCG Department of Sewers & Sanitation.
The Downtown Trash Bash is sponsored by the Downtown Lexington Corporation, is held in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup which is coordinated locally by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
