Christine Brewer, soprano with UK Symphony Orchestra

When, in 2007, BBC Music Magazine asked 20 critics to name the top 10 sopranos of the recorded era, Brewer not only made the list; she was one of four alive and one of only three Americans on the list. Brewer combines her vibrant personality with an emotional honesty that distinguishes her performances in opera and concert. Brewer's range, tone, power and vocal control have made her a favorite of the stage as well as the recording studio.

Christine Brewer will join the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra in celebration of the 200th birthday of Richard Wagner. The program will feature some of the greatest and most celebrated music of Wagner's career.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 13 at 10am. Tickets are $40 / $35 / $25 depending on seat location. Processing fees will be applied.
