Last year’s Artist's Market was a huge success!  With the popularity of the event growing, the enthusiasm of the participating artists and the close proximity to the Lexington Farmers' Market, the 2013 Artist's Market should be the best yet! Applications for the 2013 DLC Artist's Market will be available in mid-May.

Join us on Saturday in June, July and August from 8am to 2pm for the only Downtown craft market, a small, informal arts and crafts market that includes works from local artists. Artist registration varies weekly, so stop in each week to see new and different artists!  This is a rain or shine event.

Event Information

Event Location:  Located in front of the Old Courthouse on Main Street in Downtown Lexington. This event is held in conjunction with the Lexington Farmers' Market

Event Dates and Hours:  Every Saturday, June 1 - August 24, 2013, 8am to 2pm. (We are not planning on having a DLC Artist's Market on Saturday, August 31 due to events in the park on Friday, August 30 that will impact the Market space)

Exhibitor Information:

Number of Artists & Booth Size:  Approximately 15 artists can be accommodated each Saturday.  The booth display size is a strict 10’ x 10’.  The artist is responsible for providing everything necessary, including all display structures, chairs, tables, etc.  No electricity will be provided and we are strictly prohibited from tapping any nearby outlets. 

Booth Location and Product:  Booth location assignments will be made prior to the event dates for any vendor who wishes to sign up for the entire 13 week season. DLC reserves the right to change the "first come, first served" policy to predetermined booth spaces at any time during the season. Any spaces must be approved by the DLC Event Coordinator prior to set-up.  The arts and crafts that will be sold must be the original work of the artist, and the artist must be onsite with their product.  Any retail or imported products are prohibited.  Final decision on appropriateness of product lies with the Downtown Lexington Corporation.
